Our great Aussie outdoor adventures continued in the Eungella
National Park in Queensland. In the Aboriginal language Eungella, or "Doon-gell-a",
supposedly means "land where cloud lies over mountains" -- probably a fitting
description, though on the day we visited the park it was a beautiful sunny
day with nary a cloud in the sky. Our hikes through the park afforded us contact
with many wonderous creatures including an echidna, certainly a highlight of
our hikes in Aussie land.
