World Tour 2003

Background

So here's our "world trip" in broad strokes: we started our tour with a road trip around the US in our '96 Corvette. After this road trip we decided to backpack around Europe with our handy Eurail train passes. The sights and sounds of Europe were to soon be replaced by the festive atmosphere of a Russian new year. After getting our fill of the beautiful historical sights in Saint Petersburg (Daria's hometown), we set our sights on the bustling tulmut of India. After a two month stint throughout India, we planned on spending a couple of weeks in Thailand. Finally, we planned on checking out life "down under" in Australia before heading back to Berkeley to our normal routines.
